Rooted Student Ministry

7th - 12th Grade Sundays 6:30 - 8pm

Rooted Student Ministry exists to provide students a safe place where they can CONNECT with the local church, ENCOUNTER the transforming power of Jesus Christ, and be equipped to REACH others with the message of hope and love.

To fulfill the mission of Rooted Student Ministry, students will engage with relevant Biblical teaching, genuine relationship building and passionate worship.

Rooted meets on Sunday nights, gathering at 6:30 PM with some hang out time and a group game, followed by worship and a message from God’s Word, before ending the evening with age appropriate small groups to help students engage with the Word and apply it to their everyday life. We desire for students to grow in their faith and develop lifelong friendships that impact their walk with God. Sunday night is the best night of the week!

This Month in Rooted:

This September, we’re leaning into a powerful truth: I Am Valued. Our theme, 10/10, will help students understand that God doesn’t work on a sliding scale. His love isn’t based on grades, talent, social standing, or spiritual performance. He values them fully, totally, and always.

Throughout the month, we’ll explore what Scripture says about worth. Students will see that Jesus operates completely differently than the world around us. He welcomed those others overlooked, embracing them because He declared them valuable. They’ll discover that God doesn’t just tolerate us when we mess up. He seeks us. He runs toward us and delights to bring us home.

Parents— While the primary focus of Rooted Student Ministry is the student, we recognize that parents and family play a vital role in their spiritual growth and development.

What is DNow?

DNow is an intentional weekend of discipleship for junior high and high school students. The weekend consists of worship, powerful messages, a local service project, and special activities to build relationships among the students and ministry partners.

This year we will be digging into scripture to uncover what it means to be Rooted in Christ. Your student will not want to miss what we have in store for this memorable weekend.

Students will be on campus from Friday evening until Sunday morning when we conclude our DNow weekend with our Sunday Morning worship service.
