Rooted Student Ministry
7th - 12th Grade Sundays 6:30 - 8pm
Rooted Student Ministry exists to provide students a safe place where they can CONNECT with the local church, ENCOUNTER the transforming power of Jesus Christ, and be equipped to REACH others with the message of hope and love.
To fulfill the mission of Rooted Student Ministry, students will engage with relevant Biblical teaching, genuine relationship building and passionate worship.
Rooted meets on Sunday nights, gathering at 6:30 PM with some hang out time and a group game, followed by worship and a message from God’s Word, before ending the evening with age appropriate small groups to help students engage with the Word and apply it to their everyday life. We desire for students to grow in their faith and develop lifelong friendships that impact their walk with God. Sunday night is the best night of the week!
This Month in Rooted:
All this month, we’re taking a closer look at a truth every student needs to hear: “I Am Made for Community.” Community is something all of us need in every season of our lives. When it comes to our students, their friendships, how they fit in with their peers, the way they talk to their coaches and mentors, and their countless other interactions each day are often at the front of their minds. They’re asking, Do I belong?
No matter how your students answer that question, we know the gospel speaks powerfully to them right here! The community that the gospel offers is unlike any other, and true belonging is on the table.
With the help of our theme Plaid to Be Here, over the next five weeks, we’ll get to talk them through what it means to belong to God’s family by being part of His church. When God made us, He intended for us to live connected, working as one unit toward the shared goal of following Jesus. We find we are better and stronger together!
We hope that students first learn to connect deeply to Christ, who gives us amazing new life in Him! Then, our hope is that they connect deeply with each other and see the power of living life alongside other believers.
We’re excited to gather with your students this month on Sunday nights @ 6:30pm! Here are a few events to mark on your calendars.
November 29 is Campfire Night. To close out our month we want to intentionally gather together, fellowship, enjoy some ‘smores, and hear about what God has in store for us as we close out 2026. Join us in the amphitheater at 6:30pm. We encourage the students to invite their friends.
Winter Camp is coming to Rooted!! This winter, February 26th thru February 28th, Rooted students can join us at Jenness Park for an opportunity to grow in their walk with Lord. Sign ups are coming soon. Cost is $249.
