Joint Heirs

What is the Joint Heirs Ministry?

Joint Heirs follows a call from the Holy Spirit to bond together in close fellowship; pursuing the depth of Truth in the Bible.

The usual format follows the sermon of prior week; ‘digging deep’ to find buried layers of additional meaning and reinforcement of God's meaning and purpose.

Joint Heirs gathering is not a ‘passive’ search for knowledge; but an active, participating fellowship with a focus on relationship, intercessory prayer, and DOING the Truths we find in scripture.

Prayer, Traditional Hymns sung by all (and usually accompanied by an excellent pianist) open up hearts to worship and prepare the group for a deep dive into scripture. We get into the tough questions!

A hunger for the things of God; and a decades-long focus on continuing growth in Christ and fellowship has called and held a group of Saints; many of whom are active Ministry leaders themselves.

Is Joint Heirs a Sunday school? A Bible study? A Life group?

It’s ALL of those; and more. Joint Heirs on Sunday runs between Opening Prayer at 9:00 am and ’Sweets ’n Treats’ coffee fellowship at 10:20. It’s not just a ‘class’: it’s a community.

Joint Heirs continues through the week; with several active prayer chains, visitation, hosting of each other, and outreach to those who can’t attend; yet continue in prayer.

Many Joint Heirs also gather together for other prayer fellowships and participating Bible studies throughout the week. (Prayers and Squares quilting is an example).

What is Joint Heirs hoping/praying for, in the future…?

We agree that continuous growth in understanding and walking in the Lord is essential for ALL Christians; regardless of their age.

We believe the Holy Spirit is just as present in a new ‘Baby’ Christian as in mature believers; and that each will benefit, encourage, and multiply Faith in Jesus Christ by association. Joint Heirs welcomes and encourage active participants of all ages.

We’d love you to join us on Sunday’s @ 9 am in room 401.
